Let us examine some of the more prominent characters in the show and see how they have been presented in these first 10 episodes of Kurulus Osman Season 2.

Characters of Kurulus Osman Episode 40

1. Osman Bey

“Osman Bey’im, çok yaşa!” – I think this is good enough to describe how brilliant he has been, no?
Season 1 was about him becoming mature under the guidance of Şeyh Edebali. In Season 2, Osman Bey has been exceptional in every way.
In terms of looks, he has shed the ‘model’ type look of last season, and with a bigger beard and less fancy hair, it genuinely seems like a more matured version has arrived.
The White Beard leader told him to make the people dream, and with each episode, he is definitely making us all dream the big dream.

The beylik is looking closer than ever for Osman Bey with him gaining the favor of all the ‘OGs’ along the way, culminating in an endorsement by his own father, Our Bey himself, Ertuğrul Ghazi in episode 10.
“My effort is Halal for you.”
The formation of the State is ever closer. The beylik of Osman Bey will be absolute brilliance.
Strap up, folks!
The Veterans (not you Dundar!)

2. Ertugrul Ghazi

I think we can all admit that we wish Engin Altan had returned for one last hurrah. But, he has not.
At 92 years of age, and being on his last legs fighting illness, the new but old Bey has done his role very ably. In return, we had a chance to witness his genius once again against both Nikola and Yavlak. However, illness struck him down, and it seems we will have to say our goodbyes very soon in episode 40. Whichever episode that happens, it will sting after such a long journey with such a legendary character.
“Suleymah Shah oğlu, Ertuğrul Ghazi, çok yaşa!”

3. Bamsi Beyrek

Talk about a makeover! This guy has really gone to another level this season with his new look, first and foremost. He has also proven to be an unlikely voice of wisdom and reason in the tribe, and especially alongside Osman Bey.

Whatsmore, he remains an ever-able warrior still accompanied by his trusty two swords.
* Still no Turgut Bey. Still zero mention of Turgut Bey. Very disappointing from Bozdağ.

4. AbdurRahaman Ghazi

He has been a less prominent figure than in season 1. Used more in the background. Last few episodes, his immense and immeasurable loyalty to his Bey has shined through. It will be interesting to see if he becomes more heavily involved in later episodes, given that he is actually the Only real historic personality being portrayed in season 2 thus far that served alongside Ertuğrul Bey and then Osman Bey as well. No Turgut, Samsa nor Edebali has been seen as yet this season, much to the disappointment of all of us aware of the historical aspects relating to the show.

5. Selçan Hatun

Still as outspoken as ever. Has taken over the Hayme Ana role with great aplomb. Very able ally to Bala Hatun thus far within the tribe.
