Watch Kurulus Osman Episode 48 English and Urdu Subtitles. It has been amazingly mind-boggling how much the level of Kuruluş Osman has risen over the past 10 episodes.
The story-telling, the attention to detail, the building up of the support characters on both the good and evil sides, the return of the giant known as Sheikh Edebali, and overall, The World-building which is highly important in terms of portraying the historical aspects of that time have been ‘bang on point’.
It really makes one wonder what was going on for the previous 37 episodes which divided many and turned away many others.
Perhaps, Mehmet Bozdağ should come out and tell everyone to just ignore the first 37 episodes of Kuruluş Osman??. I doubt many would mind that at this point given the ‘shift in energy’ we have experienced since then.
A New Era is definitely in full flow now!

What do you guys think of Umar Bey so far?
My thoughts:
I like the choice of actor. Gives the impression of a seasoned warrior and statesman. He has a slightly sultanic vibe around him. Something we are starting to see in Osman’s tent too. I believe this is a result of the Seljuks losing real authority, so the individual Beys have to do more to maintain and grow their authority.
It seems like he is a good and honorable man who wants to help the Ummah, but it seems that like his daughter he does have a bit of an edge to him.
